Olive Garden Sued For Cyclospora In Salad

Olive Garden has been sued at least five times by people claiming they contracted cyclospora after eating tainted salads. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has traced a tainted salad mix that caused the cyclospora outbreaks in Nebraska and Iowa to a company in Mexico. Nebraska Law Enforcement August Traffic Safety Campaigns

Law enforcement in Nebraska have stepped up their traffic safety enforcement this August 2013 under two Campaigns: “Back to School” and “You Drink & Drive. You Lose.” Both of these campaigns are funded by select grants from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety (NOHS). The goals of both crackdowns are to increase police presence, raise awareness and reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities. Do your part: drive safely around schools and never drink and drive.

As summer break comes to an end and children in Lincoln, Nebraska and throughout the United States return to school Lapin Law Offices wants to encourage students, parents, teachers and the community to be prepared as we want students to get to school and return back home safely. This includes the remembering the importance of pedestrian, bicycle, driver and school bus safety. While the overall number of crashes between student-pedestrians and vehicles has decreased, August has one of the highest number of these collisions. In addition, older students now are in the highest-at risk for being injured or killed going to and from school. Nebraska’s Jack Hoffman Wins ESPY For Best Moment

Congratulations to Nebraska’s Jack Hoffman for winning ESPN’s 2013 ESPY Award for Best Moment. Jack, who almost died of respiratory failure in April of 2011, underwent two brain surgeries and chemotherapy to treat brain cancer, stole the show at Nebraska’s Spring Red-White Game. On the last play of the game, Jack ran 69 yards to score a touchdown. The play was surprise to the packed-stadium.
