Jill L. Tinnelly (f/k/a Jill L. West) is a lifelong Nebraskan. She was born in Norfolk and grew up in nearby Stanton. Jill attended Northeast Community College in Norfolk. In 1987 she moved to Lincoln and worked for the Nebraska’s Workers’ Compensation Court. After leaving the court, she began working for Jeffrey B. Lapin at another well known Nebraska personal injury law firm. In 2008, sharing Jeff’s vision for a new law office, she joined him to help start Lapin Law Offices. Jill has been a bonded notary public since 1994.
Jill recently married Clayton Tinnelly. Jill has one son who plays for the Lincoln Cyclones Baseball team.
